February 17, 2021 - I agree with a number of the observations that this has rather soft tannins, a fruity character and a finish reminiscent of a Zinfandel (which makes it a happy more than serious sort of wine). All in all , a really good value for a wine that has flavor and nose, albeit without real complexity, gives the fruit character of Cab, and a medium, but fresh finish.

July 12, 2018 - This was a medium bodied Cab Sauv, very drinkable and soft tannins. Not fruit forward, which is what I prefer, but this is inexpensive, and is good value for the money. There was no sweetness here, or a Zin type finish which I sometimes see with inexpensive Cab Sauvs, and that's a good thing, and it somehow avoided a generic processed Cab Sauv taste as well. Will buy again.

March 22, 2018 - A nose of dark fruits and spices, dark garnet in color. A full bodied red, with black cherry, cassis, cocoa and spice on long finish, an enjoyable wine. www.winelx.com

January 8, 2018 - Cherry, berry, vanilla and oak flavors. Smooth finish. Light enough I thought it was a pinot noir. Great winery we visited by chance driving feom Yosemite to San Fran.

June 19, 2017 - Wente wines tasting (Oinoscent): Ripe profile with mostly black currant, green bell-pepper and some spicyness too. In the palate, the wine shows ripe currant and pepper, easygoing, lacking red strength and complexity, juicy though, low on tannins, med acidity, short to med finish
