October 28, 2023 - Continues to drink superbly. PnP resulted in immediate spicy herbs and pepper, almost Provencal, aromas. Lots of black raspberry and black currants. Jammy but not plummy, some earthiness and brambleberry but well structured. Slightly sweet palate with a touch of well-integrated oak. Well stored bottles will likely see a plateau of deliciousness for a few more years.

April 3, 2023 - This is structured, concentrated and intense Zinfandel, reminding me of Papera Ranch with its vibrant acidity, but with a little more complexity. What fabulous color! Deep red with purple tints. Tart black raspberry and blood orange. Held up well on the second day.

January 26, 2023 - This was from the same source as my note from 12/29/2022, and it was in considerably better shape. A classic carlisle zinfandel, not as structured as Montafi vineyard but very nice.
