April 19, 2024 - Elegant nose showing fragrant aromas of melon, pear and a whiff of vanilla. Medium bodied, smooth and dry, very poised, showing elegant melon and pear notes with a tiny hint of vanilla carried by decent acidity. Outstanding Chardonnay that could go for an expensive white burgundy in a blind tasting. Great value.

December 3, 2021 - This is drinking superbly. Light citrus and apples, vanilla and oak spice. Palate is more of the same with a lovely round creamy depth. There are a few ripe fruits of peach and melon. Not massively complex but a well made wine and a joy to be drinking right now. Well worth seeking out to try and #giveanewwineago #burgundynick I oxidation £22.99 a few years ago @harrogatewines and it was my last bottle of 6, wish I had more. 90 points

March 6, 2021 - Flott. Nydelig lukt. Honning, sitrusskalll. Fyldig kropp. Forfriskende. Lang ettersmak, av moden fyldig honningmelon. Mye glyserin søtsmak hele smaksbildet

December 18, 2020 - Brilliant canary yellow in appearance with an intensely candied-fruit nose of ripe apricots, green apples, ripe pineapples with a bit of citrus thrown into the mix. The palate seems to be on the lighter end of medium-bodied, moderately intense, fairly balanced, delightful, and for me, a slight step above the run of the mill wood-influenced chardonnays that I have tried in the past (which I must admit isn't many). The flavor components include a typical range of stone fruits, Asian pears, tropical pineapple, green kiwi fruits, citrus with moderate vanilla oak and a slight minerality towards the finish. Overall, this South African white is a pleasantly refreshing everyday drinker.
