December 4, 2022 - Very deep ruby color, heavy menthol and eucalyptus nose, best appreciated at a distance. Palate is immensely dense, darkest berry/prune dominant fruit, but quite a bit of acid and mild tannin to compliment. Lingering acidic finish. I like this style of wine but i can imagine it would not be for everyone, and would expect mixed reviews. Would be great with a curry or rich strogonoff.

February 12, 2021 - On opening this had a very pronounced and somewhat unusual aroma. Settled down after a while. This is very heavy and intense. A lot of jam and eucalyptus, mentho6,.shoe leatherl. Not your standard Shiraz. It's showing some portiness too due to its age. . Not a big fan.

June 13, 2020 - Delicious Shiraz for a steal. Big Aussie blueberry, menthol/eucalyptus, and a lasting finish. By day 3 the flavors are of a far more aged quality without mellowing. The blueberry becomes riper and the menthol more integrated, maybe a touch of leather too. I could drink this every week and never get tired of it. 89-90 pts. day 1, but 92+ pts. by day 3.
