  December 8, 2023 - Recently acquired as a bin end at auction, I am probably drinking this 5 years too late. That said, it still presents as a mature Bordeaux from one of the greatest ever vintages.

  April 2, 2020 - 1982 vintage always don't fail my expectation. The nose had a wet forest, slight wet cardboard, probably due to me not decanting the wine earlier and drank straight from the bottle. It had char, toast, cedar and black fruits. The taste was better than the nose, there was still acidity and tannins. Though the tannins had already integrated well. Still good to last 5 years or more.

  October 21, 2018 - Forgot to decant. So put it in the glass and kept it away. First I was really dissapointed. But than.
  After 1,5 hours this wine really opened up. Surprisingly well. Forgot to make detailled notes, but remember the level of fruit was remarkable high (from which ‘82 always surprises me in a possitive manner).

  April 19, 2013 - Top shoulder fill, murstein kant med mørk kjerne. Kraftig med høy tannin og ekstrahert. På duft er den lukket i starten, med ca en time i karaffel kommer det markant kaffe og lær. Smaken er også dominert av kaffe, men er relativt lukket og dominert av tannin. Usikkert om denne vil åpne seg med mer tid i kjelleren, er redd den fremdeles vil være dominert av høy tannin. En tøff vin som får meg til å tenke på unge viner fra Madiran. Kommer ikke til å løpe beina av meg for å få tak i mer..
