Community Tasting Notes 3

January 30, 2017 - An interesting one for sure. Expected it to be a bit sweeter. Was actually very delightful at first but seemed to lose some life and the acid sort of turned up after some time.

January 27, 2017 - DIY BYO Dinner - Notes from another taster (Amali, NYC): This was decanted for approx 2 + hours at the time of my pour. I really found this very interesting. Fruit has a raisinated taste, but with lots of acidity to back it up so very balanced. Velvety and rich in the mouth with complex layers of flavors - nice!

January 27, 2017 - DIY BYO Dinner II (Amali (115 E 60th Street, NY, NY)): Thought this would be more of a dessert wine, but it was definitely much more standard amarone. Fruit fairly well faded and the ones that do exist are more dried. More leather.
