January 29, 2024 - Last of six (6) Decanted for two (2) hours. Similar observations from prior experience. Double decanted as tartic buildup was significant. Offers expressive aromas of ripe lemon, dairy, sweet spice & honeysuckle. Lavish presence on the palate delivering flavors of ripe citrus with background notes of sweet spice and dairy. Energetic acidity provides necessary balance and lift leading to long lip-smacking finish. Delicious! Still displays ample energy to drink well for several years ahead.

March 11, 2023 - Dutch Dinner w/Jeoreon and Isobel, Valerie and Meredith (Chez Walker - New Hope, PA): Drank after the sparkling (Schramsberg), slight chill, PnP. Drank over the course of the evening...

From prior notes: Medium gold color. Nose showing lemon zest, apricot and vanilla. Rich and fleshy palate of creamy citrus, apricot, peaches, orange zest. Skip4Wine's Marmalade descriptor fits well...palate is layered, great secondary notes. Full body chard, long finish.//"

Still right in the zone, seems that this should go for a while. Wine continued to evolve in the glass, showing more depth on mid palate about an hour+ in, last sips were the best...Will decant next bottle if venue allows

February 25, 2023 - Purchased direct from winery & cellared since. Pop & pour for client dinner. I love Aubert Chardonnay & this did not disappoint. My least favorite of the single vineyards, but this had great tropical fruit & great balance. Love the spice notes!

June 19, 2022 - My least favorite in the Aubert Chardonnay lineup but still delicious.

January 3, 2022 - PNP. Moderate sediment. Pear, stone fruit, ripe. Butter, oak, bright acidity. Best with some air. Everything is dialed up, and all the parts are there, just not fully coming together. It was good with shrimp and rice, but I was hoping for a bit more.
