January 14, 2007 - Really nice riesling that hits the juicy apple spot dead-on with lots of crushed slate notes as well. There was a bit of nuttiness and (perhaps my imagination?) a just the tiniest bit of effervescence that was vaguely champagnesque. Plan to get more and see how it develops with a bit of bottle age.
