March 24, 2020 - Delicate and light upon opening. Nose emerged with 30 minutes in glass. Mouth feel also put weight on in the glass.
Initial palate was most noticeable at entry but evolved with air to lovely Bordeaux finish. Fresh and vibrant. Minerality out distances the fruit. -

December 6, 2015 - Received small sample to try as we were leaving Labe Mell's 89th birthday party. He had stored this in a passive cellar since sometime in the 1980s.
Gorgeous nose - tobacco, earthy, dried cherry, dried cranberry. Similar palate. Medium body with medium+ acidity & very long finish - clearly on way downhill but this was a beautiful bottle to sample.
