September 22, 2023 - Jason's birthday at Bisato (Seattle, WA, USA): Mmmm, deeply savory, stunning weight and concentration

January 31, 2023 - Chassagne Ruchottes / Vosne-Romanée Grand Cru tasting (Groot-Ammers, Netherlands): Deeper colour. Not undrinkable but premoxed. A major disappointment.

December 17, 2022 - Citrus, apple, some mint notes and a pronounced salinity. The barrel notes are still present. A highly dense and powerful wine with superb length. Very well balanced and close to Grand Cru level.

July 27, 2022 - This wine is amazing … if anyone has had the chance to taste Ramonet Montrachet, this is the budget version. It’s 90+% as good and it’s 1/10 the price ! Creamy mouthfeel with freshness of lime and other exotic fruits coupled with that wonderful Ramonet minerality. Stellar wine.

May 12, 2022 - A really fine and complex nose of spearmint, white peach, lemon and fennel tops. It is direct and detailed, yet there is a silkiness to the wine. Each sip is a pleasurable amalgam of fruit and mineral and it has outstanding length. Very close to Grand Cru quality for mine.
