July 24, 2022 - Very dark, black core, crimson red hue. Aroma of blackberry, saw dust, grilled meat, pepper, forest floor. Fine dusty tannin, fresh acidity. Sweet plum, blackberry, aniseed. Fresh fruit stands out, full body, long finish. Unusual to get the fruit to stand out in such a full wine. Long legs down the glass. Great wine. Will last a long time.

March 23, 2019 - Ticks all of the boxes for a decent Barossa shiraz but nothing more.

February 4, 2019 - Kept this for five years under ideal cellaring conditions. It did not get better - if anything it deteriorated. Lesson from this - drink your Tuesners young.

October 11, 2017 - Wonderfully smooth full bodied shiraz. Drinking beautifully now. Doubt it will survive for further cellaring.

June 13, 2017 - Moncur Syrah/Shiraz (Bistro Moncur, Sydney): Biscuit and toast, blackberry fruit, spice, massive fruit in fact, blackberry tending to plum and prune, huge tannins. Crikey.
