November 25, 2017 - Very good but not as good as the first bottle I had in Chicago. I believe that the warm Santa Cruz air was too much for the wine. Should have chilled it first

September 14, 2017 - Hmmm. Beautiful color. Warm black cherry, sandal wood, asian spices on the nose and palate. Satisfying on the attack, but quickly fades mid-palate. More black cherry on the medium finish. This got better with time, so perhaps a decant is in order. Not nearly worth the price, however, even with the Costco discount.
