May 19, 2023 - After a couple of hours, there’s a rich and bright nose of berries, white pepper, spice and a melange of joyous red fruit, with subtle floral notes and hints of game. Deep red fruit to the palate, underpinned by a firm structure, still with some grip and a concentrated liqueur-like quality, all carried by elevated acids. A slightly spicy and firm finish. Should continue to develop nicely.

March 15, 2022 - Everything is in place. Needs more time though. Just entering drinking window.

June 21, 2021 - Absolutely glorious when I tried it last year, but something seemed off on this occasion - a strange sourdough scent. Not a fault I've experienced before and the somm thought it was fine, but given my friend and I didn't she graciously took it off the bill.

    July 6, 2020 - 67PM tasting with Jasper Morris

    Really enjoyed this.

2003 apparently accidentally picked late and was v.good so now left on vines as long as possible.

Mushroom, bramble nose. Red berries, sharp acidity, slight tannins. De-stemmed.

    Could drink this all night.

May 27, 2020 - 2015 Red Burgundy: Where does it rank in the hall of fame? with Jasper Morris MW (Zoom!): Deep red. No stems. Classic 2015 nose - red, rich, spicy, joyous. Lots of depth on the palate - gorgeous blackcurrant and menthol. Cherry drops, and a hint of game poking in towards the finish. Low tannin, very rounded and succulent, but doesn't lack structure or balance. Addictive. Group's #2, my WOTN.
