December 25, 2023 - Beautiful pinot nose of raspberry, cherry and cranberry. Follows through on the palate in a similar vein. Medium length, but great for an entry level wine. Drinks a bit lighter than previous bottle.

November 17, 2023 - Still delightful, and will remain so for quite some time. Perfect balance. Lovely flavour, a bit of grip and body, super integrated acid.

June 22, 2023 - Drinking great tonight & 4yrs+ since my first btl! Semi translucent ruby red. Enticing underbrush on the nose. Very 2015 pleaser w/ Bing cherry, strawberry, spice & thankfully signature Volnay minerality. I think 2015's added ripeness does a nice job of augmenting Volnay's usual penchant for a lean mouthfeel. Wish I had bought more than 2! Paid $25 on release. Drinks more like $60 plus village Burgundy. Exceedingly well balanced. 13%alc.

June 17, 2023 - Very 2015 in profile, but not in a bad way. Dark fruits on the nose and palate, but with a nice line of acidity. On the palate raspberry, dark cherry, maybe a hint of blackberry. Medium long. Some years to go with this one.

January 22, 2022 - Reading my note from Dec ‘17 this wine has not changed much at all. Beautiful Ruby Transparency , fine grain tannins - feel’s tight and young, some red Cherry poking thru - hope 2nd half of bottle shows better. Still hold
