Very heavy tartrates (not that I've ever known that to matter) Double decanted and poured: Essentially no nose, initially a bit metallic on the palate , but that seemed to subside. Little flavor. After an hour or two open, with vigorous swirling one was able to force out a hint of aroma. Both of us are quite sensitive to TCA, and there were no indications of that with this bottle, it improved slightly with time, rather than the opposite.

  June 8, 2020 - This was a nice, middle of the road California Chardonnay. Not overdone, but definitely from a warmer climate.

  April 10, 2019 - Pale golden color in the glass. Rich nose of ripe orchard fruit and some butterscotch, the latter takes over in the mouth and then some spice & mineral comes out on the finish. I was disappointed; this is not my style of Chard though I think it is well made. There was a lot of sediment in the last glass. Will not buy again.

  February 17, 2019 - On the nose sweet apple, overripe pear and grilled pineapple with peanut shells, wet cement and rye bread. In the mouth sweet apple, lemon custard and charred wood with spicy honey and a hint of cinnamon. Rich with soft acid, maybe a little tired and dull. Throwing a lot of tartaric acid crystals.
  
  I don't get it, not bad but no more interesting then I can get at the grocery store.
