  July 27, 2020 - The 2014 Coche Dury Bourgogne Rouge is strangely concentrated and tannic for a Pinot Noir, let alone a humble Bourgogne Rouge! Tasted blind and I thought it was Italian then changed my mind to Northern Rhone from the early 00s. Dark cherry, savoury dried meat and austere tannin. Quite angular. This is more tannic than the Meursault Rouge, Pommard and Auxey Duresses from Coche Dury I have tasted. I doubt this will ever come around. (83/100)

  June 7, 2019 - Very concentrated at first, quite tight, took an hour to open up. Drunk alongside a Dugat Py Gevrey Chambertin. Lighter in style than the DP. Long finish. Still young, needs a few more years in the cellar.

  December 24, 2018 - Small tasting glass @ VINEUM during service, so a brief note. Always fun to test a Coche-Dury wine, also the reds are very good. This 2014 is drinking nicely already and overachieves a Bourgogne Rouge...

  January 6, 2018 - A fresh, cool blend of wild fruit flavors that smells curiously of an Oregon Pinot with its day later freshly cut grassiness. Nevertheless, it is weightless and clearly Bourgogne on the palate. A satisfying drink indeed.
