November 9, 2023 - Stone fruits, varm stones. Quite mineral. Decently mature and probably on the plateau for me. Not very floral, herby or citrus dominated. Doesn’t feel very warm in the structure or weight, but the flavor notes are from somewhat ripe riesling.

August 24, 2023 - Straw color, verging on golden. Clearly that this wine has gained some age. Expressive nose with lots of minerals (petroleum and wet stone) at first, after some time giving room for yellow apples, peach and a nutty tone combined with some caramel (!). Full bodied attack, lots of yellow apple fruit up front. Then the acidity and an almost tannic feel kicks in on the mid palate. The aftertaste is more on the mineral side, crushed stone and chalk dominates the fruit, but some caramel and almost honey tones emerge on the finish. Good length. Clearly a very good wine, but I long for some more complexity in the mouth. This wine is rather linear at the moment. Will keep for many years, thi is just in the beginning of its career.

August 6, 2021 - Appearance: pale lemon. A little fizzy.
Nose: medium plus intensity; aromas of lemon, lime, grapefruit, blossom, honey cake, toast, subtle petrol and pebble notes. It’s developing.
Palate: dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium plus flavour intensity, medium plus finish.
Overall, it’s a very good wine. Can drink now, has potential for further ageing.
Lovely German Riesling. Pure, fresh and concentrated. Great acidity with lingering finish. Flavours are not as complex or well defined as expected on the palate, but still very well made! 92+ Will further assess on day 2.
