April 17, 2016 - Dark blood red color. Blackberry fruit, cassis, strawberry, cherry. Nice full body. Surprisingly tannins are present. The wine has great structure. Very silk. Fruit burst followed by earthy tannins. Long, dry finish. This really shocked me as I thought it was beyond the end of its drinking window, but it could easily age 5 - 10 more years. However, if you are lucky enough to have a bottle of this in your cellar, I would not risk it and enjoy it now.

February 23, 2015 - Fabulous bouquet of dark berries, with a velvety texture and long smooth finish. If you've been saving this wine for a special occasion now is the time to enjoy it.

December 24, 2012 - Incredibly smooth and full of bold flavors. Fabulous with bacon covered dates appetizer, scalloped potatoes and Filet of Beef au poivre for Christmas Eve.
