September 27, 2018 - WSET Level 2 Class; 9/13/2018-11/4/2018 (The Texas Wine School): Good bordering on very good quality Sauvignon Blanc that is clear, pale lemon in color. On the nose, it's clean with a pronounce intensity. It has aromas and flavors of grapefruit, gooseberry, lemon/line, passionfruit, pineapple, bell pepper, hay, and cut grass. On the palate, it's dry with high acidity, medium body, and a medium finish.

This is a fairly well balanced Sauvignon Blanc that is easy to drink and yet decently complex. Very refreshing, perfect for sitting outside on a hot day.

April 8, 2018 - WSET, Level 3 Advanced Certifcation Training; 3/11/2018-4/22/2018 (Texas Wine School at the Food & Wine Foundation of Texas, Austin, TX): Tasting sample. Clear, pale lemon green color. Youthful nose with medium plus aromatics of gooseberry, herbal grassiness, elderberry, grapefruit, banana, and passion fruit. Dry white. Medium plus flavors of mango, freshly cut grass, gooseberry, tangy grapefruit, and banana. Low alcohol and light body. Medium plus acidity supports an medium finish. Not much complexity, rather simple and unidimensional in approach, good balance, acceptable length, decent intensity. Good wine but simplistic. Drink now not suitable for further aging.

November 23, 2017 - Primary aromatics blackcurrant and gooseberry. Simple structure, fresh, medium body and a short finish. Easy drinking one, which definitely has it's purpose when combining with food (fish or salad?).
