May 1, 2007 - Chatateau St. Jean - what can I say? You know you'll get a decent bottle from this house. This Chardonnay was what one would expect. A very good California oaky Chardonnay. Buttey, oak and some spice? on both the nose and taste. No surprises with this guy. The wine did pair well with grilled salmon and asparagus risotto.
