August 20, 2022 - Wow less than two years since I last tried this beauty, evaluation is beginning to show. Deep ruby red, hardly any bricking at the rim. Decanted and drank over 2 hours this wine was ready from the get go. Nose of perfumed cassis, black currants, pencil lead, olive tapenade, graphite, pepper, fully reflected on the palate with power and structure. Very well crafted this wine has come a long way. Acidity and tannins in the decently bitter coffee long finish signal at least 10-20 years of life remaining. A real treat.

July 25, 2022 - Still continues to drink well.
There’s a strong core of red/blue fruit and the tannin is slowly resolving. Compared to the last time I had this, 2 years ago, this seems to have shed some herbaceous notes and gained more spice and dried fruit qualities. The acidity seems more of note, so this is probably in its prime and has another 5-10 years of enjoyment before starting to decline.

June 19, 2022 - Still a very good quaff. Soft, glycerin texture, deep red color with quite a bit of sediment, classic rustic Bordeaux fruit, no bricking despite almost a quarter century off the vine. Though it was my last bottle, no real hurry to drink this.

March 26, 2022 - My second bottle, and again less fun than I expected.

December 24, 2021 - Late Dec 2021: dark rubin red color; dark and red berries, cherries, herbs and mint; medium body; round and well-balanced with a decent acidity and slightly furry on the palate; tannins in the cheeks; long finish. 93-94/100
