Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about three hours.
Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of leather, perfume, white pepper and mixed red fruits. Flavors of strawberries, Bing cherries and red raspberries. Medium to bright acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink now with some air or continue to hold.1 person found this helpful Comment -

July 26, 2020 - Colour: dark cherry red
Nose: blackcurrant, plum, black cherry. Strawberry, raspberry. Dried orange peel. Sweet spice, old oak -- quite oak dominated when first opened, but less dominant with air. Soy sauce. Savoury. Rich. Stemmy.
Palate: blackcurrant, plum, black cherry. Strawberry, maybe raspberry. Dried orange peel. Mandarin. Sweet spice, old oak, some stemmy character. Savoury. Good fresh berry-like acidity; moderately firm, slightly drying, structural tannins, very well resolved, silky. Elegant and lithe, with good fruit richness, but very dry; very complex, really lovely. Quite closed when first opened. Would be nice to try another bottle in five and then ten year's time. Medium bodied, 13% alcohol. Seal: natural cork.2 people found this helpful Comment -
