June 4, 2018 - Alentejo Trip; 6/3/2018-6/8/2018: Wow, what a nose: plums, black cherries, blackberries, currants, complex waves of fruit, backed up by eucalyptus, mint, menthol, tobacco, cedar and black tea. Such beautiful concentration, grippy yet rounded tannins. Blackberry, currand and plum cake mixed with intricate notes of cocoa, eucalyptus, tobacco, roasted herbs, pepper, roasted chestnut. 14% alcohol, this is a blend of Aragonez, Syrah, Touriga Nacional, Petit Verdot and Alicante Bouschet, aged 14 months in new French oak barrels.
