  December 23, 2021 - Very fragrant bouquet of balanced cigar box, ripe blackcurrant, toasted coconut, leather and cedar. Complex yet elegant. Palate echoed the nose, good level of acidity with plums, spices and oaky notes. Rich and intense from entry to finish. Full-bodied and silky texture. The mid-palate still needed sometime to open up. An hour of decanting will do the trick. Finish is lingering and earthy. Ready to drink now but will benefit from some decanting for the tannins to fully integrated into the big structure.

  March 29, 2020 - This was a fantastic bottle. We tried it at the winery, first winery of our SA trip on a glorious day. Such beautiful fruit, exuberant, fresh, long lasting.

  October 1, 2018 - Dark ruby red with garnet edges. Dark berries on the nose with some plums, blackberries, cassis, dark spices and some woody elements. Medium tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Layered palate with notes of cedar, dark cherries, gravel, chalk and forest floor. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2026.

  October 1, 2018 - The age in this did the wine well. This was the most rounded wine of the evening.
  
  The nose is light. N2 with moderate body H3 f3 and a hint of acidity in the finish.
