November 25, 2023 - Introduced Jack and Jacquie to Burgundy tonight - with Maddie, we had the 2020 Lafarge Bougogne, 2020 Guillemot SLB Serpentieres, 2019 Pavelot SLB Aux Guettes and 2015 Denis Bachelet Bourgogne. Lafarge was tart cherries and cranberries with abundant floral notes, Guillemot was much darker blackberries, more concentrated, more round, less floral notes, Pavelot was more elegant and structured, and Bachelet was beautiful!

June 24, 2023 - Enjoyed 2 bottles with Jack & Jacquie at the lake. Very fruity and flavorful - I do like the Bachelet low alcohol wine style.

February 11, 2023 - Dark purplish in color. Aromas of strawberry. Luscious fruit flavors all at the back of the mouth, with a long pleasant finish. Tannins sneak in at the end, but not overly aggressive.

July 10, 2022 - What a bump from last bottle 6-7 months ago. Drinking very well 10 minutes in and forward. For you that enjoy Denis Bachelet beverages, this is a very atypical bottle and why you keep buying them.

March 6, 2022 - Fun to compare to the 2014 tasted a few days ago. More fruit, more weight yet same transparency. More complete and together. Terrific - he really lets nature speak though his wine. Should drink beautifully for another 5 to 7 years. Bravo. (90)
