October 30, 2022 - I have 12 bottles so hopefully some of the others aren't as tired. This wine exploded with floral smell when pouring but the nose and probably taste faded pretty quick from oxygen exposure. Probably peaked 10 years ago, still will enjoy drinking them just little disappointed they weren't still vibrant.

September 3, 2022 - Encore une saine acidité mais on semt que les arômes se brouillent.
On dénote néanmoins cassis, réglisse avec finale légèrement mentholée .
    Tres bien

November 26, 2021 - My last bottle. Fully matured and towards the end of its drinking window. Medium bodied on the palate, cassis and cherry, tobacco, liquorice and some roasted notes, with a menthol finish. Pleasant, but still same herbal tones and acidity in the finish.

August 13, 2021 - Not initially overwhelming out of the bottle, but only the faintest hint of brick on the edge so we went to the decanter. After a few hours, it really opened up and the texture filled out. I have to respectfully disagree with the last review, more than enough acidity. A few tannins yet to integrate too. Not super extravagant, but a very enjoyable 20 year old claret that I would happily drink any night. I wish it lasted long enough to see what 6 or 8 more hours would have done. I wouldn't be in any hurry before 2030 if you know the bottle has been stored properly.

March 28, 2021 - A little tired but still very nice. Medium bodied and creamy mouthfeel. Not much acid which is why you should drink it now. Enjoy autumnal fruits, creme de cassis, plums, mild spice, and wet tobacco.

Rockss and Fruit

(Phelan Segur) Classic St. Estephe nose. Forest floor, mineral and tweed jacket with dark brambly fruits in the background. Chocolatey, dense and lush but still retains great elegance. Classy classy stuff. There is a load of slow-mounting tannins on the finish but this really surpised me

(Phelan Segur) Nice ripe nose of black cherries, cassis, pine needles, mint, with some good fruit persistence but the attack is short and the tannins are furry and dense. This needs time.
