Deep but brilliant ruby with dark shadows, ever so slightly fading rim, swift legs.
Nose with beautiful equipoise of cassis, cooked strawberry, cigar box and fir tree.
Palate juniper, blackberry and some strawberry with a certain salinity and herbal notes in there, nicely balanced. Very good ! I got this at a now long gone offer for under 10 € and have to withhold the tears at the thought I didn’t know nor had the cellar space to buy two cases of this immediately.
Day 1: 93, day 2: 92
Days 3 and 4: 90, with some increase in sediment. So probably at this age one should consume the bottle by day 2.
