  November 28, 2018 - Restrained red fruit on the earthy nose. Pale ruby color, medium body. The palate features notes of plums, dark cherries, black currants, vanilla, oak, and spices. This wine is dry with medium tannins, medium plus alcohol, and medium plus acidity. Better with food, this is a decent mid-week wine that delivers value for a modest price tag. Drink now-2020.

  June 30, 2018 - Medium ruby/garnet color. Medium(+) aromas of sweet red fruit/ anise/ spice. Medium(+) palate echoes the aromas. Medium tannins, with medium acidity and alcohol. Definitive oak influence, bottle says French but website said American? Drinking really well now, no need to keep.
