March 20, 2020 - Inky purple wine. Big, viscous. Black fruit nose, but taste is more garrigue, tobacco and spice. Tannin is present and still a bit pokey... looking forward to it mellowing in a few years

March 15, 2020 - Way too young. I opened on Friday and decanted 2 hours. It was tannic and closed so I audibled to a different wine for dinner and funneled this back in to the bottle and vacu-vinned. Checked in on Saturday and it hadn't evolved from Friday. Opened again on Sunday and it was still closed. Decanted for an hour and ate with a steak. Scoring off of Sunday.

After long wait it was ready to drink. Muted nose, red fruited, hint of pepper. Medium body. Very smooth at this point. Medium finish.

February 22, 2020 - Tasted at end of night, after 6.5 hours in decanter. Meat, dried red fruit, and vanilla nose. Pleasant sour cherry, slight bakers chocolate, firm tannins. Good wine, needs to mature.

February 16, 2020 - Motz notes describe EXACTLY our experience. We drank over 2 days with the same experience. Love jaboulet and so happy they make a wine that is remotely a daily drinker.

February 3, 2020 - Good, but not great, wine. It was monolithic & somewhat simple, lacking layers & complexity. PNP from magnum so I'm thinking it was opened too young with not enough time to breath to open up. I suspect with more age & decant time, it would be much better.
