March 15, 2024 - Friday Group Brown Bag Tasting (R&R's): Double blind. Dark crimson red color with notes of iron, black currant, violet and herbs. Smells like a youngish Bordeaux. Flavors of red and black fruit and iron. Medium tannins with a long finish; balanced. Guessed 2015 Bordeaux. While not exactly what I expect from petite sirah this was an enjoyable glass and my favorite in the flight. (R&D)

December 22, 2019 - Hitting in all cylinders right now. Unmistakably VA. Fruits there but more the straw, leather, and dust. Mouth coating tannins.
