Community Tasting Notes 2

May 7, 2020 - A little corked. Drinkable but wet basement on the nose.

December 21, 2017 - From black glasses so no appearance notes. The nose is clean, with med intensity. The palate is dry, with med(+) acidity, med(-) tannins, med alcohol, med body, med intensity, and a med(-) finish. Notes of cranberry, sour red cherry, strawberry, vanilla, forest floor, and a touch of Brett.

I only called this a good wine on initial tasting but it got way more interesting with time in the glass. Definitely needs some air time to open up. It has more tannic structure than I initially thought and has the acidity to probably age at least 5-7 years. Drink or hold, but aerate.
