March 20, 2023 - This was a relative bargain on the wine list at City Winery, Boston (where we went to hear Lizz Wright). Slightly musty, tannic at first, and really just tasting of grape juice. The second glass was better than the first, but it still seems very rustic compared to Barolos that cost the same or even less.

February 13, 2018 - After some hours decant, nose was leather, liquorice,balsamic notes.Taste was fresh good acid, later more velvet taste, some menthol or mint, game, deep forrest berries. After taste nice, I like it.

January 20, 2018 - Decanted 2 hours, color light brick red, nose charming nose of mentol, sour cherries, taste very elegant and delicious, a fine impression of Nebbiolo.
