July 6, 2020 - Impromptu wine exchange night. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Tasted blind.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour with wide garnet rim. Legs.
Nose medium intensity, with aromas of earth, strawberries, deep red cherries, fresh mint leaf, integrated oak, touch of iron. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), fine lick of medium tannin, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of ripe strawberry, deep red cherries, fresh mint leaf, red licorice and spice, stony earth minerality. Slightly rustic on the long finish.
Very good quality. Good integrated mouth-feel. Seems ready to drink now already. I was guessing NSG. This seems a bit older than expected. -

April 20, 2020 - Big, suave, rich, with that unmistakable NSG dark plum fruit and black licorice with gentle spice and leafy finish. A real dark beauty, and ready to drink.

March 12, 2020 - Odeur de chêne au départ pour s ouvrir par la suite sur le fruit. En bouche, c est juteux, souple. Ampleur moyenne, belle finale sur le fruit. Très agréable
