November 24, 2023 - This is all there, stood up for the most of the morning on Thanksgiving day, single decant for two hours and felt it was pretty impressive. All dark fruit IMO, felt the tannins were a little tongue stripping for the age but the fruit was definitely out front. Finishing tonight and the tannins have pulled back quite a bit. I love how these indestructible Syrahs just evolve over hours and days. 92 on average over both days, excellent Syrah, Bravo Alban !

May 24, 2023 - Coravin by the glass. Nose of blackberry, blueberry, plum, gamey meat and spice. Black and blue fruit, gamey meat, bramble and spice on the palate. Finishes with good length. Full bodied. Served with Mexican steak pizza.

March 21, 2023 - Placed first in group blind tasting of Alban, Arnot-Roberts, Martinelli, Pax, Araujo, and Keplinger (Diamond Bar) Syrah. Balanced, silky smooth with robust fruit.

December 28, 2022 - Full throttle all the way. Not the deepest expression of Alban Syrah, but man oh man is it tasty. Super seductive in style and black fruited all the way. Sweet fruit in spades. Quite enjoyable for the hedonistic set. Compared to other Alban wines, it's missing that extra 2 gears of throttle and power, but none the less, quite delicious.
