November 21, 2022 - The wine took a couple of hours to open up. I agree with a previous comment that this wine has a Northern Rhone feel. Deep dark fruit, iron, meat, nice balance, and weight in the mouth. The finish is long with firm tannins and medium to + acidity.

November 4, 2022 - The years have been kind - a funk on the nose that reminds me more of White Hawk Vineyard but this is hallowed BNV - easily (for me) mistaken for a Northern Rhone with pedigree and quality. Way to go Russell. Great drinking window - open dn expressive - dark fruits - tannins integrated. In a word - Hell Yes. Legitimately Outstanding. Not to be confused with Old World though.

April 9, 2022 - Decanted 1 hr. Drank over 2 days. Day 2 was about the same as day 1. Nose of darker fruits. Consistent big tastes of dark fruits. Soft tannins.

October 17, 2021 - Great vineyard pedigree, quality was obvious. Deep, dark fruit, rich, long finish. Wine kept opening until there was none. This was not a fruit bomb at all.
