June 1, 2018 - One of the darker roses I've had, it's fresh but has a weight unlike most roses. Overripe strawberries, black pepper and spice, with an oaky finish. Some citrus lingers at the finish too. Nice start before dinner but I think this could hang on it's own with heavier fare too.

August 31, 2017 - Served chilled, it was deliciously refreshing to offset the slog of a near 100 degree day. Very deep pink color. Crisp acidity and tart strawberry flavors. Great end of summer treat!

July 23, 2017 - delicious fruit on nose, very dark, great stuff.

July 12, 2017 - Day 2. Strawberry and sour cherry nose, toasty note as well. Strawberry rhubarb front with a bit of medicinal astringency followed by heat and sweet. Put this on a snow cone! (in a good way)

July 10, 2017 - PnP. Initially chilled to ~50 degrees, but opened up as it warmed to about 60-65. One of the darkest roses I've seen, as well as one of the heartiest I've tasted - both due to its saignee origins. The nose yields cherry and strawberry, which follow through on the palate, along with some minerality and spice. Everything is balanced with great acidity, and no noticeable residual sugar, nor evidence of its 15.9% abv. Could hold until next summer, but you'll drink it sooner.
