December 12, 2021 - Deep purple with minimal garnet. Large fruit component with earthy notes. Palate is medium fruit good acid and medium to fine tannins Plenty of capacity for a heavy tomato pasta compliment. 3-5 years of remaining fineness.

May 12, 2021 - Inky purple in color and opaque in the glass. Decanted for 2 hours. Fleeting aromas of blackberry, vanilla, cocoa, tar, herbs, violets, and lavender. Blackberry, smoke, herbs, and pepper on the palate. Full bodied with lively acidity and plush tannins. Drinking exceptionally well right now and I don't think bottle age will improve this any more.
