Community Tasting Notes 3

April 8, 2024 - Dark, unctuous, surprising amount of primary dark fruit left even after 20+ years. Notes of cocoa, tobacco underneath blackberries and dark plums. Smooth tannins, very well integrated at this point. Wish I had more.

    March 23, 2010 - Great fruit. Carries 14.8 beautifully.

March 2, 2007 - Opened last night...but was tight as a drum, not giving up a thing. Tonight, this is showing much better. The perfume on this is very nice...cedar, mint chocolate and a little musk. Black fruit and mint chocolate carry over on the palate. For a big wine, this is surprisingly light on its feet, with a nice balance of acid. Nice wine.
