December 24, 2023 - Balanced acidity and tannins; flavors of blackberry, dark cherry, cassis; aromas of floral. A moderate lasting finish, but it is the pronounce fruit that makes this wine. Drinking very well now and has another 3-4 years in the bottle, but why wait?

February 25, 2023 - This was an extremely impressive wine and drinking very well right now . It has this magnificent dark ruby red color color , amazing smell and a nearly flawless balance. I've had other cabs with longer finishes and more complexity but very few with this finesse. It has a bit of everything you want in a cab all balanced in perfect harmony. I decanted for 90 minutes which seemed to be about right

April 6, 2021 - Some soft suppleness on the nose. Up there in the sneak cult.

July 2, 2020 - Displaying a very intense bouquet of black currant, candied red and black cherries and mocha, intermixed with hints of blond tobacco leaves and earthy notes of leather and toasted red pepper. This wine possesses youthful, yet sweet tannins and is characterized by its overall richness, suave character and approachability.

May 2, 2017 - Hard candy and blackberry nose. Very thin and disjointed off the bat. Tannins and acid present but not in very good harmony at the moment. Gave this a couple of hour decant and it did improve and gain weight. Still somewhat lacking in structure and the finish is short. I think this will improve but I'm not sure this will ever get to 90 points for me. No more purchases of immature vines for me.
