Community Tasting Notes 1

September 17, 2012 - Very intense on opening, but quickly fades. Reminiscent of Coonawarra Cabernet, with intense notes of liquorice and blackcurrant cordial. With time, it reveals smoother notes of raspberry, cranberry and plum sauce. A faded, dusty character persists throughout. Pretty good, though it was drunk much older than the winemaker probably intended.
