January 28, 2024 - Really good and ready to go. Smoke, graphite and leather wrapped around a core of blackberry, cassis and cherry. Great effort. Aged really well.

November 21, 2018 - Drinking nicely now but can go a while longer. Black & red fruit coating the palate. Finishes with black fruit. Blackberry, black cherry, cassis & leather. Quite good.

April 28, 2017 - Smells like the inside of a freshly emptied wine barrel. So much wood. Thick, extracted, heavy fruit. Left about a glass worth in the fridge for a few days. This has mellowed some but that tarry thick quality you often get in these extracted wines is still there. This sin't your father's Martin Ray. A waste of mountain fruit. I should mention as is common with ultra modern wines, this comes in a big, heavy style bottle even though it's only priced in the mid $30 range.
