September 9, 2023 - Probably liked this a lot. Drank ages ago, removing now.

October 15, 2022 - Did have very subdued tannins as previous comment. Black fruit ans cassis on nose and palette. Rich fruit though from the get go and went very well through finishing the bottle. Quite happy with the timing in the end. Glad i didn't wait longer.

March 15, 2022 - Very nice. Looks younger than it’s years, Smooth, maybe too much so. Blackberry plum some cassis, subdued tannins low to moderate acidity. In the zone but Should repay another couple of years or more cellaring. Just a tad on the easy side otherwise would have scored a little higher.

March 15, 2021 - One of the last vintages from Senator Ross Fitzpatrick before the winery was sold.
Medium plus ruby with just a hint of bricking indicating that a year or two more might add some complexity.
Medium plus intensity notes of violet and blueberry.
Dry, high acidity, medium plus tannin, high alcohol and full body.
Black cherry, cinnamon and plum flavours leading to a medium finish. Overall, the result is outstanding.

January 24, 2020 - Always a fan of this winery, this is a big, bad, & bold OK meritage...and it still has lots of life left.

Notes of stewed cherries, dark chocolate, baking spices, medium tannin & medium + acid.

Could use more time in the cellar - but enjoyable right now! Too bad this is my last bottle.
