October 16, 2005 - Not quite as great an offering ast the Cliff Lede Pinot Noir 2002, but still very good. The aroma of clove, cinnamon and nutmeg are intense and remind you of engulfing a pumpkin pie. The wine actually nicely complements a pumpkin pie for dessert. Flavors like slightly bitter blackberries, nice and juicy.

November 7, 2004 - Garnet in color followed by a nose of blueberry and sugar. The palate shows more berry with a hint of asian spice. The tannins are sleek and smooth. I last had this wine 3 months ago, and I must say it is much better today. It is near a dead ringer for The Laughing Magpie. A very good cali syrah for $25.
