May 9, 2016 - Sicily-Tasting, Flight 4, Wine 2: This wine was dark ruby in colour and offered dark fruit, herbs and liquorice on the slightly stinky nose. On the palate the medium-bodied wine showed dark fruit, herbs and liquorice, with medium-level acidity and tannin and average to good length. I just realized that I already had this wine back in 2008 - back then I was wondering if the oak will ever integrate; at least that oak issue was resolved by time. Same score today as back in 2008. Drink now.

June 13, 2012 - Lighter red. Ripe, roasted sweet dark fruit, like pan roasted plums. Spicey, sweet dark fruit flavours with a black raspberry finish. The sweetness and ripeness leave it a bit out of balance. Was better though with cheese.

February 19, 2010 - Très beau disque. Le nez est sur la violette, la cassonade et la réglisse. En bouche, c'est très soyeux! Belle acidité, superbe équilibre, finale correcte. Des petits fruits noirs et une pointe florale. Pourrait encore vieillir un 2-3 ans sans problème.
