March 29, 2023 - Dark ruby in color, this CdP shows vivid notes of plums and raspberries on the nose. Fresh, with marked acidity and chalky tannins, it's overall smooth and velvety on the palate, loaded with spice, plums, and blackberries. The ending is long with a hint of balancing oak - not intrusive at all. Still young, this wine punches well above it's price point. Wow, wish I had more bottles tbh. You will enjoy it if you like fuller flavors (this is Grenache-dominated), with hints of raisin-like notes. I would wait 3-4 more years if possible, but this is so delicious already!

July 16, 2022 - Nose of cherries, jolly rancher candy, and sweet vanilla oak. Initial hit of black cherry on the palate turns tart, adding black olive, tarragon, and bay leaf. Acidity and red cherry leads the finish into long, smooth tannins with leather and red clay.
