December 21, 2023 - Drank this a month ago and thought it was past its prime. This was our only other bottle and wow. It’s a lot better. Must be a difference between bottles. This is a moderately heavy cab, but not jammy at all. Very clean. Strong tobacco leaves, some green pepper, a bit herbaceous, slightly tannic fruits, oak. Really a very nicely balanced wine. Had with prime rib. Awesome.

November 19, 2023 - Agreed with Kevrob822 review from Sept of last year. This has gone flat. The fruit is mostly gone. My wife got some plum, I got virtually none. I got a lot of wet stone, granite, maybe lead. It’s very mineral. But not a ton more. I think it would have been better 4 years ago, which should have been young for this wine, but it hasn’t aged as well as hoped. I’ll drink my other bottle right away.

September 23, 2022 - Bottle was a magnum. Exceptionally tight, and already tasting quite flat with little life, or fruit upon opening. Tried Decanting for two+ hours, with little to no improvement. I love the ‘16s I’ve had from Ladera, and was really excited about this magnum. (Which typically age better then 750s). Pretty disappointed. Can only give this 88 Points.
