July 4, 2023 - VINIFERATU nailed the salient points. Good bottle that I enjoyed with some burgers and dogs on a warm summer day.

March 20, 2022 - Holding up very nicely! This improves greatly with a few hours of air. Serve it in a large glass, with food, and not too cold.

Aromas of diverse citrus juice and pith, strawberry and raspberry candy, perfectly sublime umami seabreeze and stale bread, delicate white pepper, vague Mediterranean herbs, a little dried rose petal. On the palate it is smooth and full, silky texture on the mid-palate, so many of the aformentioned aromatic notes appear on the inner perfume but a beautiful crisp white peach also wends its way into the fray, soft but fresh and citrusy through the finish. Nice stony, pithy and herbal character lingers long. Mature, but this will be worth following another few years.

Again, serve this not too cold and with food, anything a little fatty with some maillard effect and aromatic herbs sounds about right. For me, this is not a light juicy summer quaff, but rather a serious wine built for the table.

August 30, 2021 - Salmon color with aromatic strawberry, watermelon, lime zest, stone fruit and wet stone aromas. On the palate it's medium-bodied, focused and harmonious with a vibrant, mouth-watering acidity and strawberry, watermelon, lime and a hint of white peach flavors with an appealing mineral driven long finish. An altogether gorgeous rosé! 12.3% abv

Note: cleaning up cellar inventory, actually consumed years ago

February 7, 2021 - I discovered I still have quite a few of this vintage so I figured I better check them out. Tiring a bit on the palate but has a really lovely nose of strawberries, watermelon and cara cara orange. Lacks some of the exuberance it showed in its youth but still elegant and pretty. Very good but doesn’t age quite like it’s namesake Tempier. Not the strongest vintage of OtL IMO.

April 9, 2020 - Great warm weather wine to enjoy on the patio with a nice charcuterie plate! Singing of strawberry.
