  August 8, 2021 - Red fruit, black tea, cola. But that doesn’t even get close to what this well-aged stunner achieves. Endless flavor, bright acidity, incomparable structure, finish for days.

  August 13, 2020 - Nice flavor profile of red fruits, earth and vegetable notes. Overall very nice. Tannins are a bit grippy (not sure if it is from the oak) but I would let this age another year or two. The 2016 Olivet by contrast was soft and silky.

  October 1, 2017 - Really good wine. Failla consistently delivers very high quality Pinot Noir wine. I have never had even a mediocre Failla wine. Consumed with cheese and crackers in front of a fireplace with an old friend. Get this wine. It's terrific.

  May 22, 2017 - soft tannins with a nice earthy truffle nose and palate with a bit of cherry. This wine is a good example of a good pinot noir. It is drinkable now but will be much better in 1-3 years.
