November 3, 2017 - very good-excellent. Really a straight shiraz. 14.5% alc. A big wine which is really soft now wirh age.
Colour: dusty, dark red berries
Bouquet: sweet developed berry fruit, slightly porty, some vanilla still
Palate: similar to bouquet, dry herbal characters, very soft big tannins, , full bodied but balancedalcohol not evident at all, nice long clean finish.

April 3, 2015 - Excellent, 14.5% alc.
Colour: deep black berry
Bouquet: developed blackberry fruit, plums, dry, herby character, touch of vanilla
Palate: big bodied, blackberry fruit, red berries, vanilla, big soft tannins, long clean dry finish. Nice balance of fruit, developed character and tannins.

November 27, 2006 - Intially quite a bit of bottle stink but it blew off quickly to reveal mature notes of cherry and some forest floor. Medium bodied in the mouth, with a nice mouthfeel, fully resolved low tannin and medium to low acid but overall lacking intensity. This wine is slightly over the hill, but with air it did put on some weight and was fairly pleasant to drink.
