  November 21, 2021 - Our bottle tonight showed very much like the note below from SEANUCSB. Definitely less full bodied and not as dark fruited as the Russian River and 1910 zinfandels from Limerick Lane. Still good, but I prefer their other bottlings. This was best with food.

While the fruit level is nice--not over-the-top--it is accented by very pleasant acid tartness. Under the rear palate there are sensations of dustiness and stemminess. This seems to be reminicent of "old style" Zins that featured a rustic style. Make no mistake, however, this wine is much more elegant that the Zins of old.

  November 11, 2020 - Medium body and leaner than what I am used to from LL but bursting with red cherry fruit and raspberry bramble. Some very unique spice (pepper/clove/allspice?) Which really complemented the fruit and made for a good food wine.
